Find someone else. I filed bankruptcy and everything I read said to hire a lawyer, so I did. Unfortunately, this is the lawyer I choose. Long story short, he missed the deadline to file missing paperwork despite being reminded by the courts, as well as myself. Now I have a bankruptcy on my record, because it doesn't matter whether it actually happened or not. Then when refunding our money, he decided to charge a fee for paperwork, on top of the fees we already paid. This, after refusing for months to take our calls. Incompetence at it's finest.
