I came to Magee from Jefferson Hospital with Gillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS). 5 weeks of acute therapy. This is a 1st class facility, both therapists, nurses & Drs were great. No lie, therapy was hard, my PT’s pushed everyday to achieve next goal. From couldn’t move my fingers down to my toes to walking out the door with walker. I’m in home therapy & going to outpatient here in a few weeks. I’m grateful for the highly qualified Magee!

I came to Magee after having a stroke, I arrived by ambulance because I couldn’t walk. After 3 weeks of intense therapy I was able to walk out the door.Magee didn’t just focus on my physical condition, they provided with the emotional support I needed to recovery. When your confined to a wheelchair or bed you have a lot of free time and Magee other therapist music, art and recreation fill in the gaps.
