True Colors Nail & Spa is a nail salon located in Kinnelon, visited by people from the area and even those from out of state. The salon is known for its cleanliness, which is important for hygiene. Customers receive excellent manicures and pedicures from caring and nice nail technicians. However, some customers have reported being charged high prices for services, such as $110 for a gel manicure, which some locals find overpriced. Additionally, the salon informed one customer that New Jersey nail salons do not offer acrylic nails due to bacteria concerns, which was new information for someone used to getting acrylic nails in Iowa. One customer had an incident where their cuticle was cut too roughly during the filing process, causing it to bleed, which raised concerns about the level of care provided. Despite these issues, the majority of customers appreciate the quality of service and the skills of the nail technicians.
I actually was planning to go to a different salon but they were unexpectedly closed and I saw this one across the street and went for it, I was 45 mins until closing but they were super sweet and accommodating and I got both my gel manicure and pedicure done quickly! I felt like they had a nice selection and the prices were reasonable. I definitely want to come back and try some fun styles.
I moved to kinnelon about a year ago and have been looking for nail salons I tried almost everyone in kinnelon and butler but it seems like true colors was the best one for me. During the process yesterday I was cut on my cuticle so bad from filing it started to bleed and the nail tech apologized.Then later when I got home I realized several of my cuticles were cut. This is a new lady who did my nails the previous one doesn’t work there no more but she was wonderful. I can’t even wash my hands because they hurt so bad. Please don’t be so rough. I really loved this place but now it makes me question if I should go back or not.
I love coming to Tru Colors Nails! Excellent nail technicians for manicure and pedicures! It is very clean and that’s important for hygiene! The people are very nice and caring of their customers!
