I had a good loc styling experience with Ebony + Ivory. The salon is very family oriented and intimate environment. Unfortunately my previous stylists either relocated or retired. After bouncing from salon to salon, I really appreciate Ebony & Ivory because of their knowledge and ability to educate me in my hair health and its current limits. Discussing my experiences and previous hair trauma of being held hostage in a salon, they understood and walked me through options. During a recent appointment the style I got wasn't very flattering on my face and I was able to come back and get the style fixed. My first time getting my hair braided since I’ve been down here and I love it. Pearl did a good job on my hair, I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on it. Thank u Sandy for informing me about the braiding hair!!!
I live 20 minutes away, but going to this shop is the best out of all the places I have gone to get my hair braided because the service is fast and the end product is worth the price. Plus the braids do not pain me like places I have gone before where my head hurts for a few days afterwards. I usually go once every 2 months. It is important to note that you do have to pay for your own hair, but the hair store is next door with affordable prices, and putting down a $50 deposit is necessary. But in 2 hours or less, the end result is beautiful.
