“Navigating a full afternoon of pre-procedure tests can easily feel overwhelming, but our visit to Deborah Heart and Lung Center’s Outpatient Services in Browns Mills was smooth from start to finish. We arrived about 35 minutes early for a slate of prep work, including an EKG, a CT scan, and routine bloodwork ahead of an upcoming procedure, and were welcomed right away by a warm and efficient front desk team.
Remarkably, we were already being called back for the first phase of testing 20 minutes before our scheduled appointment time.
Every single station operated like a synchronized team. After checking in, we waited barely five minutes before being brought back for the EKG. Moving on to the CT lab was just as quick; within six minutes, an IV was set up and everything was underway. Turned out we had an unplanned step during this phase but they were so accommodating and showed care as they took care of our need.
We finished up in the lab for bloodwork with the exact same level of speed and organization. It’s rare to encounter a facility where every step of the process flows seamlessly without any bottlenecks.
What stood out most was the genuine kindness and attentiveness of the entire staff. My father was feeling a bit weak, so we used a wheelchair to navigate between departments throughout the building. At every stop, the nurses, technicians, and registrars went out of their way to make sure he was completely comfortable, safe, and unhurried. Their compassion turned what could have been a stressful, tiring day into a positive experience. Exceptional care and efficiency all around.”
