I hired Matt to do a rather large, complex project that involved ripping my roof off, establishing a second floor on half my house to add an office and home gym...which ultimately turned into a complete gutting of my downstairs with a new Kitchen and a few reconfigured walls. Matt and his team did a great job on our renovation. We converted part of a garage into a new bedroom, increased the size of the kitchen (and upgraded counters and backsplash), added a half bath, and remodeled a primary bath. As the house was old, there were lots of surprises as the old floors, etc were torn away. Matt was always patient, clearly describing the unanticipated changes and its consequences. He was also very patient as we changed our minds a few times! All changes in scope were detailed in change orders, making it very easy to track any budget impacts. We chose Cusamano Builders to build us our family home in Brigintine. From start to finish Matt was kind, extremely responsive, detail oriented, and very knowledgeable about the entire process. We were new to this process and he was patient with our many questions and gave amazing advice when asked. He built us a four bedroom home for our growing family and was able to stay in budget with a high quality! He is a true asset to Brigintine being very invested in the island, an honest local businessman and would highly recommend Cusamano Builders to build your future home.
