I just arrived 11 AM for an 1115 tee off. As I’m checking in I guess the Manager didn’t like my T-shirt. He asked me to turn it inside out because it was a Met shirt. Not because it’s a T-shirt. If he wanted a collard shirt I would’ve bought $110 Polo. He just wanted me to turn my shirt inside out because he doesn’t like baseball. He said this with a childish laugh. He also escalated an argument in a very unprofessional manner coming outside continuing the argument after he canceled my day of golf. IHe lost a sale and made no friends that day. Terrible. I was on my friend's bachelor party, and it was being held in Atlantic City (out of town for everyone on the trip) and we wanted to golf. We paid for 18 holes and by the 2nd hole it started raining very heavily, to the point where the course was un-playable after and they did not allow us to go out and finish the round of golf. So, we paid $75.05 to only play one hole of golf and they did not offer a refund. They offered a rain check to play again another time, but because we are all from out of town, this seems unreasonable. They should have just refunded us the money, since we didn't even play. Course is in terrible shape. Lost 2 balls on teh fairway into some of the standing water. Several bunkers were underwater and the ones that were not was basically just rocks.
The price just isn't worth what you get. Paying $80 at 3 in the afternoon is jsut way too much money. Its the only option on the island, so they charge monopoly prices for a mediocre course.
They have a new cart path and new cart. But that money should ahve gone to fix the MAJOR drainage issues on the course.
