Fred is a great owner/barber. And the price?? In a world of $80 clip joints, Fred charges $14...no fancy head sculpting... Just old school haircuts.But the best part may be the banter of the roomful of men and women who hang out at Fred's joint - not there for a haircut, but because they stop by, some daily, to say hello, shoot the breeze, and check in on life. Most are old time friends or patrons, whose conversations are part Archie Bunker/Meathead and part hanging-at-the-corner jabber. Always entertaining and 80% laugh out loud funny.Your head will be well-coiffed and your cheeks sore from laughing/smiling when you leave.

The prices are hard to beat. He did a terrific job on my haircut. There’s always fresh coffee and some kind of treat whenever you go. He always has a few friends hanging out, so there’s always good conversations going on. He has 2 newspapers available to read everyday. So it’s not just a place to get a haircut, it’s social event.

It's true what the others are saying: Freddie is very personable and friendly. Not to mention he's not too shabby at giving haircuts. ? very happy with the results. Good vibes all around and very affordable in this post covid age.
