The facilities are large and very clean, with continuous sanitizing of machines and steam cleaning of floors. There has been a noticeable improvement in overall cleanliness and organization, with well-spread out machines and many new, quality pieces of equipment. Retro Fitness has become a favorite for many, with members excited to make it their home gym and build connections within the community. Overall, Retro Fitness is highly recommended for its exceptional service and facilities, especially in Bayville, where it sets a standard for gyms across NJ.
I’d personally give this space a 10/10. It’s extremely clean, well kept, very spacious, has great customer service and the vibes don’t lie aka the energy of the atmosphere is wonderful. I also have conversed with a few of the workers and they have all been very friendly. Keep up the great work!
Love Retro in Bayville, NJ. I have a Retro in my own town but take the drive to this one because everyone is so friendly and it’s very clean and spacious. When you arrive you are greeted with a good morning and when you leave they acknowledge and tell you to enjoy your day. The members too are very good with one another. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I really enjoy coming.
Great gym overall — friendly, spacious, and the equipment is well maintained. One small suggestion: it would feel even cleaner if hand sanitizer dispensers were added at the cleaning stations. Since the gym no longer provides wipes and now uses spray bottles with paper towels, having sanitizer available would really help members feel more clean and keep everything extra hygienic.
