About Life Time

Life Time Berkeley Heights is an athletic country club offering a wide range of amenities. PROS: The selection of classes (yoga, strength, dance, etc.), the pool, the steam room, the basketball courts, are fantastic. I love being able to work remotely from there, have lunch, and get a workout in. The outdoor pool is excellent. The staff are incredibly nice. For parents, the kids academy is everything, being able to have childcare that the kids actually love (rock climbing, dance, sports, you name it) while parents get workout time is invaluable.

CONS: The indoor Life Cafe is unfortunately the weakest link of the club. The afternoon / evening staff, although very nice, can be disorganized and orders often take a long time or sometimes even forgotten....read full review

Lifetime Academy was an experience! Oh my God they have everything on deck! The sauna was heavenly, the massage chairs were next level, and the workout left me feeling amazing. The atmosphere was on 100 from the swimming pool to kickboxing and water acrobatics, everything was absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to go back! 💪

Low to no AC -it is hard to exercise like that. There is no consideration for customers who need to wear long sleeves due to religion. Please turn up your AC! Late afternoon- Night shift (women's locker room) staff look annoyed and unapproachable all the time. Showers smelly and dirty. Some hairdryers that barely work need to be replaced. If there are no improvements soon, I am definitely taking my money elsewhere.
UPDATE: adding 2 stars because showers and locker area are MUCH cleaner now! 👌
