Quality Painting

SCAM. Please save yourself money and DO NOT trust this company. Work was done, work seemed to be quality, although employees on site were rude and inconsiderate. At the end of the job, the cost was an extra $1,000 above the quote. If it’s justified then fine, I get it. So after receiving the invoice that stated what we owed, my wife contacted the owner to ask how much to write the check for and who to write it out to, and the owner ADDED ON ANOTHER $1,000. A ghost $1,000 not involved in the original price hike to cover some additional materials and labor. So we OVERPAID by $1,000. The owner responded once to the messages I wrote that said what he told my wife to write was incorrect and the invoice clearly shows it was incorrect. He said he was busy and would be in contact soon and would be happy to refund the error if in fact it was an error. We are now almost a month later and dozens of calls and texts, the owner is IN THE WIND! We are out $1,000 and will be taking the issue to small claims court. So much for one small business trying to take care of another. And the worst is the business owner was a friend to the family. Sucks, disappointing. 0 out of 10 recommend.

So very disappointed! We had the exterior of our house painted spring 2020. We were initially pleased. However, we immediately had bubbles coming up in the paint everywhere they had done a first coat/cut - on a day after rain and high humidity. We were assured they would go away after the paint had totally dried. Instead they got even bigger,more widespread and our house looks horrific. Justin said they would fix it but it has been a YEAR and he is just totally ignoring us. So now we have to go through the hassle of more quotes and spend thousands of dollars to have it fixed. And then go to court to get compensation. Joke is- we would have totally recommended them if they had stood by their work. Things can go wrong. But if just one person changes their mind about using their business based on this review - it would have been worth it for them to follow thru. And of course, everyone notices so we tell them about our experience. (Justin tried to tell us it is “moisture in our house”, but bubbles are on metal pole as well. We have had contractors, roofer, and window installer all tell us we have no issues. Sherwin Williams tells us probably a priming and/or weather issue) Quality Painters promo talks a lot about their follow up and making sure you are happy. It’s a shame they don’t stand by their work.

Thank you for a great job painting my parent's new home in a very short amount of time! I never thought we'd be able to get it done - not only was it done, but the job was done really, really well. Justin helped me pick just the right colors and all touch ups were taken care of right away so my mom and dad could move in and not have to worry. I can't wait to get them to paint my house next! 😀
