Barnegat Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to pets. The clinic has a team of veterinarians and support staff committed to delivering excellent care and service. Clients praise the caring and understanding staff, fair prices, and modern facility. The clinic adapted to COVID-19 protocols but has largely returned to its pre-pandemic operations, much to the delight of clients. Its unique check-in procedure allows clients to wait in their cars, which is appreciated for its convenience and ability to reduce pet stress. Many clients have had positive experiences with the staff, especially noting the kindness and willingness of veterinarians like Dr. Jocelyn Ruiz and Dr. Schwert. The staff is known for being accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable, with special acknowledgment to Meryl, who goes above and beyond to ensure pet owners receive their medication and follow-up care. With a long history of family ownership since 1984, Barnegat Animal Clinic has built a loyal client base, many returning for years due to the exceptional care provided.
Barnegat Animal Clinic is hands down the best, and a huge reason for that is Dr. Stashek! She has done a phenomenal job taking care of Teddie and managing his eye issues.
Dr. Stashek is extremely smart, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. You can tell how much she cares, and her expertise made a massive difference for our Frenchie. She is just a truly great vet overall—we couldn't ask for better care for Teddie!
Brought my cat here 3 times. Every staff member at the front desk are always so kind, and give off a great sense of healthy work place. The doctor we have seen.. she has AMAZING handling of the cat, tons of knowledge and information, hasn't steered us wrong yet. Not to mention how nice and kind she is. They don't make you feel like a burden or bad pet parent. Pricing is so fair, especially compared to others around. If you can get your pets in there, I'd highly recommend.
Thank you to all staff!
Sincerely, a happy cat.
This clinic truly loves ever animal and woll take very good care of your fur babies Vet there saved my friends dog from near death and since he could not afford vet services at the time he did it for free. Shows a pure love for animals that most vets do not have anymore
