MarksmenUpon attempting to sell my childhood home, I discovered that my father had buried the old oil tank in the front yard. Unfortunately, there was still a large amount of oil in the tank and, over the decades, it leaked into the yard and under the house.Marksmen literally came to our rescue and took care of this tremendous excavation project from start to finish. Glen and Dave did all the heavy lifting from the tank removal to raising the house and removing the contamination, to rebuilding a portion of the foundation and putting the house back together again. Best quote for an oil tank replacement that I received. Very responsive and helpful. Didn't try to up-sell anything and were very informative when it came to the break down of what was to be expected. Jeff from Marksmen was also very friendly and timely. Wasted no time whatsoever in getting the job done and was done in half the time I read online. Truly couldn't recommend this company more.

All 3 of the oil tank removal co's that a real estate agent recommended low balled their quotes, sent multi-page contracts with numerous upcharges & additional fees (eg. $35 for a no parking sign?, extra fee for just coming out to look at access to the tank location), spoke to me in a patronizing tone & mansplained which was the worst part (one even asking to speak to my husband instead!). I was able to research & found the old company (no longer in business) that emptied my oil tank back in 1998 (Norcon Environmental did it the right way by taking pictures of the whole process of opening / emptying / sand backfill, sending copies of the permit, disposal receipts & our...read full review
