Just terrible. They made an error on their end between sales and service and didn't include a location for oil delivery though we discussed that with both the sales representative and service technician. When I called because we were out of oil customer service was unbelievably awful. They said they can't deliver without an oil tank location and couldn't make that change till next week. They didn't acknowledge their error. After lengthy holds and a long conversation they finally asked a district manager and he suggested delivering a small amount to tide us over until we could get this sorted out next week.
Called for an emergency we had no heat it's a Saturday morning and my family is freezing, we had negative weather no other source of heat, rhymes charged me $259, for 1 hour of work, the man showed up, didn't know how to turn my furnace on, my husband and I had to show him how to turn it on, he had no tools with him just his flashlight on his phone, we started the furnace for him he reaches towards the blower motor and says it's junk, nothing I can do now but I can order the part on Monday, but it won't be until after Christmas for them to come back, he takes his phone takes 3 pictures and walks out and drives away, he wasn't even in my house for 15 minutes, did nothing...read full review
Rymes was taken over by Superior Plus Propane. This review applies to Superior, although Rymes wasn't much better. Terrible customer service. If you don't constantly call and hold their hands, you won't get anything from them. You have to do their work for them because they consistently fail to do their job and don't really seem to care. Their CSR's do not communicate with each other and do not follow up as they should. Given this is a service organization they have fallen terribly short of an acceptable level of service. Sadly, this seems to be the case within the oil and gas supplying industry. It's a bit of a monopoly and they all seem to have a "could care less, go somewhere else if you don't like it" attitude. If it were not for the good group-buy price we get for propane I would have kicked their six to the curb a long time ago. They have one service tech for our area, he is very capable and a good guy, "IF" you can get him! He came to our house to address a propane leak at our generator. He rounded the corner and said the installation was done completely wrong, and it was done by another Superior tech who no longer works for them. Good luck.
