Owl's Nest Resort is an exceptional venue for events and a fantastic place to stay. The Lakehouse, where weddings are held, is stunning and accommodates guests seamlessly. The on-site lodging is new, clean, and updated, providing a comfortable stay.
The resort offers various activities, including a well-maintained golf course with challenging elevation changes and blind shots. The staff, including the course marshals, are friendly and helpful.
The food and drinks at the resort receive high praise. The mac and cheese balls were a big hit, and the drinks were delicious. The staff, described as amazing, take the time to get to know the guests and treat them like family.
The resort's facilities and amenities are top-notch, with spacious and well-kept Gambrell houses for the wedding party and comfortable condo units for families.
The resort's staff are commended for their excellent communication, agility, and attentiveness, making the experience stress-free for guests. While there is ongoing construction, it does not detract from the overall experience.

Owl's Nest is AMAZING!! Our wedding weekend was perfect. Taylor and Amy were outstanding all around: communication, teamwork, energy, and flexibility, they made our weekend so stress-free. Taylor was with us all day long and went above and beyond to make sure our vision was met and that we had the best time! We knew we were in good hands from the moment we arrived on the property! Sean from lodging was so accommodating and friendly helping us ensure our guests received their welcome gifts. Cole from the SportsNest ensured our golf tournament went off smoothly! Tim, the banquet manager helped coordinate the most outstanding rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch, even helping us find lost items. Our guests could not say enough about how amazing every staff member was. We even got some of them on the dance floor with us!! We will forever treasure this special spot and look forward to coming back for years to come!
Location and overall resort was very nice. Room had nice amenities. Sink stopper was stuck shut. I was there for a quick stay and didn’t have time ask to get it fixed. Also the outlet for the coffee maker was recessed and difficult to use
