They replaced over 40 feet of rotted sills with sturdy 8x8 beams. To preserve the barn’s original character, they replaced the rotted wood under the floor but were able to reuse the old flooring on top of more secure rafters. The team also made sure that all the barn doors now operate smoothly. A significant structural issue with a post high above the barn floor was fixed, and Jon even pulled a beam back 6 inches to its original post position.
