I got married there in 1971. We were two different religions, but both Americans, so as to not upset family and friends due to a religious thing, we decided on the American Legion Hall.

I've been a member of Post 34 for a couple of years now and there have been significant improvements and upgrades made in the last year especially. Management has made great efforts to address previous issues, changed personnel, upgrade furniture and more to make it a great place to hang out with friends, or rent a clean affordable space for your larger gatherings. I highly recommend local vets to visit American Legion Post 34 in Plaistow.

as a veteran and member of post 34 it is a place where you can get to talk to other veterans and share the past encounters. members are very friendly and helpful with others needs. if you need a beer it's the place to go.
