We called Nicholas and he promptly responded, I could tell he was hard at work when we were speaking. He was an absolute gentleman and came by after work to view the scope of the work we requested. He told us when he would be able to get to our work, we immediately liked him, he was honest, up front and a joy to have in our home.I am a retired carpenter and this young man's skill level is amazing, he takes incredible pride in his work, it is refreshing to see a young man with these traits, this young man will go very far, I highly recommend him, he is a great young man.
Nicholas has done two jobs for us, both executed extremely well and within the projected time frame. The first was a challenging replacement of large screens (roughly 8'x4' panels on a porch) damaged by a bear. The replaced screens and the framing around them are indistinguishable from the screens that had not been damaged. The second was replacement of a small second-story deck that had suffered some damage from rot. There were problems getting enough of the needed decking, but Nicholas engineered a work-around and produced a beautiful new deck. We'll certainly call on him again when work is needed on our house. I was desperate to find someone who could install a kitchen floor on short notice. Nicholas was able to squeeze the work in between jobs. In two days he leveled the floor (no easy task in a 200 year old house) and installed a floating floor with trim. He was prompt, very personable, answered questions about the project (as well as future projects) knowledgeably, did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this hardworking honest man.
