I recently purchased a whole hog from Vernon farm to turn it into multiple charcuteries and the meat was absolutely exquisite, some of the best pork I ever had. Coming from a multi-generation of hog farmers family I've learned how to judge quality and Vernon farm has an A+ product. They were super attentive to my request for a custom processing and delivered exactly what I asked for in timely fashion. I plan to continue doing business with Vernon farm because their product is excellent and they are super nice people that really know what they are doing. Congratulations ! Don't think twice, buy your next pork roast at Vernon Family Farm, you will not regret it.
I LOVE the food. It’s different, it takes some adjusting and asking questions to understand why always helps. Nicole is PHENOMENAL. Understanding, informational, and genuinely seems to enjoy answering my questions. Gave me book references and told me about their events and things they have for people to learn. She’s very upfront about everything, even the back side of their website, when I had issues getting my subscription started. She opened it right there in front of me and I honestly dont think I’ve ever seen anyone so open about every step. She apologized about the experience but she had no reason too. There is truly something for everyone here - from the stocked farm store to the wildflower meadow to children’s story time to concerts, this is such a special place with people devoted to care - for animals, community, and connection. I love knowing my local farmers!
