Ashley is awesome. I have owned dogs over the years, and Puck is my most recent and beloved addition to my family. We have been going to classes since he was 10 weeks old. Puck is increasingly confident and our connection gets better and better. With Ashley help/instruction we are developing into a collaborative team. She is really one of the best trainers I have worked with.
Poka, my husband and I love this place! We feel so grateful to find a school that is compassionate, kind and positive. Ashley and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and empathetic in helping us humans communicate better with our beloved pup. We started Poka with puppy play sessions, and have taken Puppy Beginner, Intermediate, Basics and more recently a super fun Nose Work Class. Poka, has thrived with the small class sizes and loving attention. Ashely and her crew are always available and have answered many questions beyond the scope of the class. We look forward to continuing our education with Poka at You and Your Dog Training!
My boyfriend and I have taken multiple group classes and private lessons with Ashley for our 2 year old Great Pyrenees, Sterling. Ashley is extremely knowledgable and she far-exceeded our expectations with her training abilities. Sterling is a nervous and reactive dog and through the lessons, we were able to build her confidence so much more than we ever thought possible, along with strengthening previous skills she knew and learning effective new ones. We went from struggling to bring Sterling through our apartment complex due to her reactions to other people and dogs to being able to navigate the halls and pass other people with ease. Thank you Ashley for all your help!
