This place really ought to be called Rocky's Old Tyme Barber Shop. They ARE that, in every way. Come here if you want an old-fashioned HAIRCUT, the kind they can't comprehend at SuperCuts etc, and DON'T come here if you want an app and the kind of modern cut where you tell the barber what blade(s) to use. Other places can give you that. Here you can almost hear a barbershop quartet singing in the corner :) And oh by the way, the haircut is great every time!
ROCKY'S BARBER SHOP - Happy 74th birthday tomorrow to my longtime barber Rocky on Pearl St. next to Crosby Bakery. Rocky and Joanie have been cutting hair together for quite a while. Men's cut $18, senior cut $13, hot foam neck shave and Bay Rum included. (I'm eligible for the lower rate, but at these prices, full price works, too.)
