When we decided to pursue federal contracts as a new commercial entity we quickly came to appreciate the significant learning curves associated with DCAA compliance. We decided early on in our formation to focus on our core technical competencies and outsource our accounting concerns. Colleagues recommended a short list of accounting firms for us to consider, and we did, but we came across Kline & Co in our own searches and were intrigued by their online profile. The initial consultation was impressive so we waded into the waters with Kline & Co as our accounting partners. Our first contract took over a year to develop.
