She has a feather light touch with shampooing and styling, and is very good with color (takes meticulous notes so good results can be repeated). She pays careful attention to hair texture and shape. Brings the best out of my hair.“

I am absolutely loving my new hair after taking 6-8 inches off! After moving to a new state, it was hard for me to change salons. But boy, this place did not disappoint. “Katie and Marta were my INCREDIBLE hair and makeup duo for my wedding day and they made me feel so beautiful. They treated me with such care and truly listened to exactly what I wanted. I'm always a little nervous about getting makeup done, but Marta let me bring my own supplies and worked with whatever I wanted. I felt SO natural, and my husband was obsessed with the job the two of them did (which says a lot!!). I got compliments the whole day on my hair and makeup, and truly felt so great. From the trial to the day of, I always felt extremely cared for through Katie and Marta. What's more, Katie blocked off an extra hour after my appointment in case any bridesmaids made a last minute decision to use Hampshire Hills for their hair the day of the wedding--which one did, and we thankfully had Katie available (she gave my sister-in-law an amazing, casual updo!). It was clear she was thinking thoughtfully ahead for me on my special day.I also frequently go to the salon for regular hair cuts as well as manicures/pedicures. I feel so comfortable having Katie as my hair stylist--she is a true professional and I'm always confident I'll leave feeling great. Marta also always goes out of her way to make me feel special. A few times, she's stayed late or said yes to an appointment on the spot for my convenience. I feel like these two women are my friends--I truly can't say enough about the amazing Hampshire Hills Salon staff!“
