She’s safe among the big dogs people comment when they see the pics aren’t you worried with all those big dogs absolutely not she has the best time is well cared for I don’t even have to say a word and I’ll pick her up and they’ve trimmed her nails grooming is fantastic . American K-9 Country Pet Sitting

“I refuse to do agility training anywhere but American K9 Country. I drive 2.5 hours every week for class because I know there is no place around that compares to AK9C. As someone who works as a dog training instructor, I have come to find that the dog training field is flooded with people that are great trainers but not great teachers (or vice versa). AK9C is owned and staffed by trainers who are not only seasoned and accomplished handlers, but also wonderful teachers.

I was introduced to AK9C years ago before I had my current dog, but already had an interest in agility. I immediately knew after visiting the facility that this is where I would bring my future dog to train. I began taking agility classes with Nick in the spring of 2025 and it has become something to look forward to every week since. I immediately felt welcomed despite being in a class with handlers who had more experience than me. Nick is the ideal teacher who adapts his teaching to the handler and dog in the ring while still holding everyone to the same standards. He gives constructive criticism in a very productive way and makes sure his students know what they did well even when they are being hard on themselves. He has helped push me to begin competing for the first time and educated me on all that I need to know for trial day.

I have only competed in one agility trial at AK9C so far, but the experience was great. Other handlers were very friendly and supportive and I feel like that is a reflection of the culture that AK9C has created.

Between all of this and the ever-improving facility, I have never even considered doing agility training elsewhere.“
