Thank you Darcy for the beautiful lesson for my eight-year-old daughter. For me, going to Twingate felt like going home. Having ridden there in the winters, when Bunty Lee stables rented the indoor arena with their horses back in the 80s! It is so nice to see this historic farm revived, and that the residents of Londonderry and surrounding areas are now once again able to explore the beauty of horses. If anyone is considering learning to ride here - this is the real deal. Although we no longer claim Londonderry as home, we are so lucky that we visit family once a week here and this stable is just a mile down the road from my mom’s!

My daughter has been riding here and taking lessons with Darcy since summer of 2018. We started her out with a summer camp, at which point my daughter just fell in love with horses, riding, and the farm. From the get-go, she received careful instruction on properly caring for the horses; and that care and time is built into the lesson. It's amazing to see how much my daughter has learned and grown. She now has a true a passion and joy for riding and just being with the horses, which I wholly attribute to Darcy's respectful, encouraging, and patient guidance. Highly recommend! :)
