I have a really hard time understanding the medical terminology, I was able to get complete clarification from the nurse navigators while they helped assist me in transferring my appointment to a lower cost provider for my outpatient procedure and not only was given a great level of care but also rewarded for my choice financially.As technology advances, we typically lose the human connection... As someone who doesn't get to the Doctor too often, it's always a bit overwhelming for me as well as confusing. Today I had to visit my Primary Care Physician and explain the problem I was having. He recommended I get a CT Scan as soon as possible. I called Harlowe's Nurse Navigators to see if this was something they could help with and sure enough they were delighted to help me right away.
