Our final excavation, left a 4ft high terrace at the rear of our new back yard, so we wanted stone pavers on our terrace with an attached fire pit for gatherings with a retaining wall low enough for sitting

Chris was very professional & flexible, arriving on two separate occasions to make measurements and estimates for two ideas we contemplated. Our terrace wall was created with river rock boulders on our property, about 4 ft. high, the back slopes upward into the forests' edge; Chris aided us in selecting pavers and retaining wall blocks that would look best against the terrace boulder wall, our wooded environment & our other wall of boulders 3 to 8 ft high, which separates adjoining properties.

The employees Trevor and Brandon, we're also very courteous, polite and punctual, taking great care of our property while working & ensuring the work area was neat & clean throughout the day & after they finished for the day. They requested my input throughout the project, ensuring the fire pit was placed in the exact spot I wanted, & even went so far as to smooth & flatten out all tracks in the dirt / mud, due to the excessive rainfall.

We now have a beautiful terrace with a 40 ft long sitting wall & fire pit for a couples weekend fire on a cool fall evening or a family gathering, blending in perfectly with the boulders and wooded landscape.

“Jim just completed an amazing restoration in our log cabin. After 50 years, we knew we had some wall damage and some critters and Jim faced our challenges head on. He devised a plan to preserve as much of the original pine walls as possible and integrated the new pieces beautifully. He identified the root of the problem - leaks at the chimney - and he had it sealed and patched fast. We then made a surprise discovery - our old log beam mantle had rotted through. We had no idea how we would find a piece of wood that would match the cabin and Jim worked magic. In two hours he found a gorgeous salvage mantle replacement - amazing. I can’t recommend them more highly thoughtful, hard working and collaborative. He solved all of our problems and we plan to work with him as our go to crew from now on.“
