“I was fortunate to work with Mel and Katie for my wedding this past Saturday. From the very first point of communication Mel was so wonderful to work with. She was easily the most responsive vendor I had. She also did my eyelash extensions and brow wax/tint before the wedding along with a makeup trial that all came out perfectly.She and Katie did hair and makeup for 8 of us total, they were efficient without rushing, they were kind and helped make the whole getting ready process relaxing. They even finished ahead of schedule which gave me time to eat lunch before photos! I wanted to cut my hair as a surprise to the groom and Katie executed it perfectly, and it was a substantial chop no less. Mel had my makeup looking flawless and they both offered touch ups and made sure everyone felt good before leaving.I would highly recommend the beauty bar for wedding and any other beauty services in general!Services: Bridal services“

“Amelia has had my trust for several years, but today I gave her quite the challenge. I’m 65, going gray, but not there yet. I wanted color to smooth the transition. Once again, this color master did not disappoint! She expertly placed foils throughout my very dark hair so that as the gray shows up (curse you! lol) the color difference will be seamless. I was thrilled with the results and highly recommend her for any color need. The Brunette Rose is a beautiful salon in downtown Amesbury that definitely deserves a visit!“

“Trish is amazing. I always get compliments on my nails. I have been going here for 7 years and have never been disappointed by Trish's work. She always has ideas for things she knows I will like/are my style. I have extremely sensitive skin and she always makes accommodations for me to make sure I don't have any reactions to any of the products being used. She takes her time to make sure my nails come out perfect and she never settles for "ok". The people who work the front desk are kind and keep their cool even when it is super busy.Luxe is the only place I will go to get my nails done.“

Being in the industry I know many of the lash babes around but I must say once I met Tammy 3 years ago I knew I could never go to anyone else. Tammy is meticulous, she always strives for perfection which I always appreciate. Her price point is beyond generous making it affordable to keep up with regular maintenance. She is extremely accommodating with my schedule and has always been reliable with appointments. I can't praise Tammy enough. Tammy came highly recommend from a hair client and personal friend of mine. At the time my friend was about to be a bride and I was soon to follow. We had both said how we wanted have them done for our wedding (which by the way as a bridal stylist and a wedding crybaby I HIGHLY recommend) After a traumatizing experience in Newburyport MA where my friend was completely blown off before her wedding she serendipitously found Tammy. I couldn't stop starting at my friends beautiful lashes. I had seen many sets done on clients and friends but these were spectacular. I met Tammy soon after and never looked back. We both still see Tammy regularly. I enjoy her company as much as I enjoy effortless mornings waking up feeling pretty. Thank you Tammy.“
