Walked into Wild Valentine not knowing what to expect… walked out wondering why I haven’t been here sooner.
First time trying a matcha latte — and if this is the benchmark, I’ve been missing out. Smooth, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with that clean earthy finish that actually makes you slow down and enjoy it. And the latte art? Dialed in. You can tell they care.
Grabbed the strawberry rhubarb crumb bar to go with it — absolute knockout. Sweet, tart, buttery crumble… the kind of thing you say you’ll save half of and then suddenly it’s gone.
Service was on point, vibe was calm, and it’s the kind of spot that just hits right without trying too hard. I also had no voice when I came in, and they were incredibly patient and helpful — handled everything smoothly without making it awkward.
Bottom line: If you think you don’t like matcha, start here.
