Tamara is very talented cutting and styling curly hair! She takes the time to sut and talk first to truly understand what the client is looking for. She is also very patient, kind and great with children. Highly recommend!

For a long time, my daughter and I have struggled with her confidence around her hair. She’s always tried so hard to “do the right thing” and take good care of it, but curly hair can feel overwhelming and when you’re still figuring yourself out, it can be even harder. On a bit of a whim, I booked an appointment with a curly specialist. I’ll admit, I looked around and a lot of places were either very expensive, booked far out, or both. I had such an incredible first experience at Northern Roots Hair! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely cared for. Tamara took her time with a wonderfully thorough consultation, really listening to what I wanted—and the end result honestly blew me away. I left feeling so confident and so happy.
