Since I have been here , Shawn has helped me with everything I needed to work on , I've been sober 7 months and I have turned my life around, I've built a structured lifestyle and bettered myself 110 percent, plus I've found my faith and surpassed all of my goals plus I am doing volunteer work to give back to the community. I moved into Hope to freedoms white house on March 13th 2023, my 61st birthday. I was fresh out of treatment, scared hopeless and broken. Having spent 40 years drinking and using I was at the end of the road. I showed up at their door with nothing left except a duffle bag and a backpack. Shawn and Melissa took me in and excepted me as I was. At hope 2 Freedom they offer a very structured and strict program and with continuous support and love they helped me finally love myself again. Having the disease of addiction is not easy by any means. There is a lot of guilt and shame that comes with it. There are also many negative veiws and beliefs about those that have it. Having been to over 20 different treatment type places and settings, I have found this one to be the most warming and caring of them all. The owners ACTUALLY CARE about me and set me up for success on a path that often has more failures than victories. The homes are very well taken care of. I am very comfortable living here and as I said, constantly feel cared about even when I have struggled to care for myself.
