“For over a decade, I refused to dye my hair because of a severe PPD allergy. While I eventually learned to embrace my natural color, I still missed being able to do something different with my hair. After years of waiting, I finally decided it was time to take the leap.

Before choosing a stylist, I did extensive research. I carefully went through Heather’s website and social media, looking at her work and making sure I felt confident in my decision. When I reached out, I immediately explained my allergy and concerns. From the very beginning, Heather was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She answered all of my questions, addressed every concern, and was even able to get me scheduled much sooner than I expected.

I’ll admit—I walked into my appointment full of anxiety. It had been over ten years since I’d stepped into a salon for color, and I was genuinely afraid of having an allergic reaction. Within minutes, Heather made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to explain everything, never rushed me, and gave me an honest recommendation about what would look the most natural and complement my hair best. I trusted her professional opinion, and I’m so glad I did.

I also want to give a special shout-out to Tara, who was there during my appointment. Between Heather and Tara, I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. They were warm, kind, completely nonjudgmental, and wonderful to talk with. Their genuine friendliness made such a difference and helped melt away the stress, anxiety, and nervousness I had carried into the salon. Tara, thank you for helping make what could have been a stressful experience into one I’ll always remember fondly.

When Heather finished, I honestly became emotional. I shed a few happy tears because, for the first time in a very long time, I truly felt beautiful—inside and out. Heather took my very fine, delicate hair and transformed it into a soft, natural, dimensional masterpiece. The color blended beautifully, looked incredibly natural, and exceeded every expectation I had.
