Dr. Huerter is a vet who truly cares about your pet and providing them the best care possible. My cat had unexpected incredibly aggressive and rapid cancer symptoms. In a week he went from a healthy boy showing some symptoms to needing to be put down for the amount of pain he was in. Dr. Huerter was amazing the whole way through. She truly made a traumatic week significantly less traumatic with her compassion, honesty, and straightforwardness. She provided him all the opportunities she could to give him a fighting chance. I really love this vet. I Have been bringing my dogs here since we moved here in 2015. One thing I really noticed is we never feel rushed. They always take their time to answer any questions we have to ensure the best quality of care. I also appreciate, some of the straightforward answers to the hard questions with making some of the hard decisions. I have recommended this place to numerous others and have yet to hear that anybody has been disappointed.

We have only recently begun using Walnut Creek Vet Clinic but are already big fans! We appreciate the ease of getting appointments scheduled (even when it's for the next day), the lack of wait when we arrive, and the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. And our dog appreciated the heated mat on the exam table the last time we were in on a very cold day! :)
