This place was convenient for me because I was running errands in the area, however, I would not stop here willingly again. The smell of backed up drain/sulfur is overbearing and was making me incredibly nauseous. I asked for the basic pedicure and got up charged for what I am not sure. The staff were nice, but it did not seem very sanitary and seemed out of date comparatively to other salons of equal value.
Lindsey is the best, I recommend La Dolce to any friends asking! I tried about five different salons before finding Lindsey and La Dolce and I’ve been coming for almost a year now. All the workers are very nice and it’s really clean and relaxing inside. They’re also really good about taking walkins. A few other technicians like Ben have done my nails as well and they also do a great job that lasts 3+ weeks! I do the vitamin gel with gel polish for $45 +tip.
I'm an elementary school teacher. Over a year ago, I admired a fellow teacher's nails and asked where she had them done. She told me Dolce. I started going there and haven't gone anywhere else since! In fact, there are almost a dozen teachers from my school who go there now because of the quality of their work and the amazing looking nails we've seen on each other. Dolce is conveniently located across from the Shadow Lake shopping development in Papillion. There is a Starbucks next door so you can grab a drink before your appointment. Appointments are not required; I've done both walk-in and appointment to get my nails. I do prefer appointment so I can plan, but it's nice to know if I need to get them done spur of the moment, I can. The chairs at Dolce are comfortable. The nail techs are all fantastic. Thuy (pronounced Twee) is the absolute best! You can bring in a pic of your inspiration and they can make it happen. They play music in the salon, but also typically have HGTV on the televisions. I get caught up watching the home renovations sometimes! :) My favorite part is that you can get acrylics if you want, but they also offer a vitamin gel nail manicure that has allowed me to grow out my own nails! All the photos are my own natural nails with the vitamin gel manicure. This place is so good it would be tempting to keep it a secret, but I think everyone should have the chance to have beautiful nails!
