“I have been suffering from runner’s knee due to a hip imbalance for many years. I had never been to a chiropractor before but decided to give it a try as a last ditch effort, I wished I would have done it years ago as it would have probably prevented my knee issue! When Dr. Brazda stated that he would like to have me running again in the Spring, it seemed impossible as I was sitting in his office in pain! But I came in for regular treatments, and rested my knee for a couple of weeks, before trying some impact work in the gym. And I feel great! I am still dealing with some inflammation due to old scar tissue, but at Dr. Brazda’s suggestion, I use a heating bag on my knee to help with the blood flow. I do that before a workout and then ice it after a workout to prevent any swelling. With regular maintenance adjustments to keep my hips in alignment, I hope to prevent further injury. I am now optimistic that when the snow clears I will be out on the road running again!Teresa Walsh“
