This business is located in an amazing area of Omaha! I have driven 2-3 hours just to have my hair styled by Drea. She did an amazing job and I would go back again. This is the type of place guys go to get the treatments they need and a nice cold drink after. Except to be taken care of!
First visit, wife bought a gift card for Father's Day. Keira cut my hair and she was awesome. Very personable and she made the experience great. The guy running the bar was knowledgeable about pricing and made two really good drinks. They have a number of prices if you want to go all the time. Overall was a great experience with a great vibe!
Scissors and Scotch is a great idea for a business (drinks while you get your hair cut? Yes please!) Now they are a barber shop vs. a salon, so they cater more toward a male clientele, but my husband has always had great cuts there. I love it because he is not a huge drinker, so I can go into the bar area and wait for him while he is in the chair (and have his free drink while I wait!) The ambiance is definitely upscale and leaning into the "masculine" aesthetic, both in the salon side and in the bar. It's all woods and leathers, with dark concrete floors. They offer a subscription service, but you don't have to have that if you want to just come in for a singular cut, and a free drink (cocktail, beer, coffee) is included even if you come in for a single barber visit vs. having a subscription. I definitely recommend Scissors and Scotch as a wife who can sit on the bar wide and enjoy a beer/read a book, while my husband is getting a great cut!
