As A Deacon, I do several vigils a year. I have been welcome each time. It is critical that people plan their funeral. It was a great present my parents gave to me. We plan birthdays, school events, sacraments, graduations, and weddings. I tell people all the time to plan your funeral that most seldom do. Family members who are grieving are not in the frame of mind to do it. Also, plan your obituary and religious service too (to include readings and songs).
