DGP was a positive way to learn a lot of the most common tricks you would want, but more importantly it was a great source of early socialization that is SO important for puppies. Our Lola started off a shy wallflower and really blossomed and made lots of puppy friends. The groups are kept small and the trainers help give you extra attention if you're struggling with any particular trick. They also take hygiene and sanitation seriously. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend Dog Gone Problems for puppy classes. We’ve had such a great experience and have learned more than we ever have in previous training programs. Their approach is truly positive reinforcement–based, and what really stands out is how knowledgeable they are about dog behavior and body language. The focus isn’t just on teaching skills, but on making sure the dogs are comfortable, confident, and actually enjoying the process. You can clearly see that the dogs’ emotional well-being is a priority. I would highly recommend Dog Gone Problems. When we first adopted Shazbot a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Cotton De Tulear we wanted to give her the best start to her new life. She is a former breeding dog at a puppy milll and she did not know how to be a dog. We reached out to Dog Gone Problems as we had read about their positive approach to dog training, as that is what we wanted for her. We had several in home sessions with Lydia.
