A year ago I started, for the first time ever, getting chiropractic care. I started because my lower back wasn’t getting any better (still isn’t) so I wanted to try to get the rest of my back in better shape to compensate. When I started I was all out of alignment, had a 1.5in forward posturing of my neck and my hips were all sorts of out of whack. I had severe calcification of my vertebrae. After my fall I learned I have mild scoliosis, degenerative disc disorder and disc protrusions. I had my 1 year follow up. While I am still waiting for my x-rays to be looked at to see exactly how much progress I have made, I can tell you without a doubt… had I not started getting the chiro care I did when I did…. I would probably be in a wheelchair right now! Since doing that I was able to sit at work for 10 hr shifts at Tyson, and 8 hr shifts at the other two jobs most days. I was able to ride in a car all the way to and from Colorado. I’ve been able to set up and tear down a few wedding a without much assistance. I was able to walk in the mountains…. I have been able to do so much more than I was able to a year ago! If you are in Omaha and looking for an amazing chiro look into Awaken Chiropractic… the whole staff is incredible and I cannot thank them enough for helping! I also want to add they aren’t your typical snap crackle pop place. They work first on a neurological level and then get the cracking done. I am not posting this to win anything or because they asked me too…. I am doing this because I truly believe they helped me get some of my life back!!!!!!!!
Before starting at Awaken Chiropractic, I was having back pain and wasn't able to do many extra circular activities. Over the past year and a half, I am now able to move better and do a lot more outdoor activities. I am very thankful for the wonderful staff and listening to my concerns and helping my body feel better.
