My 4 year old had his first ever eye appointment the other day with Dr.Meyer. My son is one who tends to get overstimulated with new places and new people. He usually acts bashful and sometimes can struggle to be comfortable and it can be a battle to get things done. This was not the case at all this day! Our tech was fantastic with him from the start. My son was pretty antsy by the time Dr.Meyer came in for his assessment but he was phenomenal and was so flexible with my son. He was patient, he engaged, reassuring, and made my son feel so comfortable that he had conversation with him and showed Dr.Meyer how he “runs fast” and everything. Dr. Meyer, O.D., has been providing comprehensive eye care at Eye Physicians, PC since 2000. He earned his B.A. from Drake University and his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Meyer offers eye exams, manages ocular diseases, treats infections and injuries, and provides surgical care. Serving patients in Norfolk, Columbus, and at an outreach clinic in Winnebago, NE, he is dedicated to his community. Outside of work, he enjoys family time and is active in his church and local health organizations.
