The music is on, and they're in the zone. I was worked by the apprentice (JFC, I'm terrible with names...), and she was very much in lockstep with her master. The mannerisms, the no-nonsense dedication to her work, and her set up table were nearly identical to her teacher.
Above all, I got a quality piece of art that's important to me in memory of a loved one, and the process was modern, and much more comfortable than my first tattoo from thirty years ago.
