We finally made it to the Czech Festival in Wilber, Nebraska and loved every minute of it! My husband lived in Czech Republic for a little while and fell in love with the people and culture. We were delighted to find out that Wilber does this festival and is the Czech capital of the US. It was so fun to visit this cute museum/education center during the festival. I loved how the town blocked off roads and involved all the shops and restaurants in the festival. We watched a cooking demonstration, won something at the silent auction, played real (for money) Bingo for the first time, and listened to incredible music. What a fantastic place! I hope we can come back someday.
