We have been in our house for almost 6 months. Our final grade hasn't been done, amongst many things. The warranty person told us at one point the final grade likely wouldn't be done (it's in the contract that they have to). Then they told us to take care of our weeds and they'd come and do it. Spent $1500 to do that (which weeds wouldn't have been an issue as our landscaping would've been done by then) and there STILL is no answer as to when this will be done. I have been very disappointed with this home builder. They do not respond to most texts and emails. They have excuses for inadequate work saying they \\\"meet code\\\". Their web site indicates they are \\\"committed to the highest level of attention and craftsmanship\\\" and to \\\"providing peace of mind and trust\\\". I would think that their statement would be backed up by caring about their customer. My experience is that they don't. I have attached a pic of the sidewalk in front of my home. This is after ONE winter. I sent this to them and they repeatedly ignored my inquiries.. They never even sent anyone out to inspect it. I finally emailed Mike Dolbec directly but his response was that it was \\\"possibly\\\" due to using ice melt. While I did use Ice melt I used only concrete friendly formula. If the problem was ice melt use the steps would have also been affected. I had to replace the sidewalk at my own expense due to Windsong's failure to respond and failure to even inspect the issue. I highly recommend you avoid using this builder. Once they get your check the customer service evaporates.
