I am embarrassed to say that I didn’t think of contacting Dr. McCulley in the first place. I had a stye/sty that persisted. Finally went to one of the big med systems urgent care. Got eye drops and used faithfully. Week later still had problems - spreading. When I tried to see an eye doc - the big system could get me in —-in 9 days. All I wanted was an eye expert to look and tell me it was or wasn’t something needing treatment. RING! The bell finally rang - I have an eye doc!! She always seems to have new technology and is very committed to not “just” fitting glasses but eye health. I called her office and she was examining me within an hour. Exam looked at eyes - but through sophisticated machines not just hand scope, checked further with dye solution and actually checked my vision too. Bad in one eye. Excellent medical care, different prescription drops, more discussion about issues and self care. And scheduling recheck to see if vision improves or another problem. As I said - I was embarrassed that I hadn’t gone to “my” eye doc for eye care in the first place.
Would absolutely recommend McCully Optix to anyone looking for the best professional eye care and customer service in the F-M area. From the moment we started going here, everyone in-office has taken the time to get to know us and make a concerted effort to best meet the needs of my family. The facility is absolutely gorgeous and the selection of eye wear is top-notch. Calls and questions are promptly returned and appointments are so easy to schedule. We look forward to each and every visit, knowing we’re in great hands.
