My husband and I have used Brady Martz as our accounting firm for the entire 35 years we have lived in Minot, and we have been completely satisfied with them until now. We received a letter notifying us that due to increased inflation this past year and low staff the cost of tax preparation will be increasing next year. We can understand that - everything is going up - but NOT doubling!!! In the last few years, we have paid in the neighborhood of $550 to $600 to the best of my recollection, and that has been on the high side compared to other accounting firms. The projected cost for 2023 tax preparation is $1200! This is VERY disappointing, and we feel like the company is gouging customers. I guess we will be looking for another accounting firm.
