My experience with UrgentMED has been very positive. The doctors are very good and take all the time needed to listen to you and examine you. In other places, doctors spend less than 15 minutes with you, most of the time looking at their computer. At UrgentMED, there is no computer in the exam room. The doctors know your medical history before they see you. The place is also open pretty late and you don't have to wait much. No appointment needed.
Excellent customer service, friendly and helpful staff, and it was way quicker to be seen here than at certain other walk-in clinics that have a higher volume of patients coming through the door. Don't get me wrong, though: I wish UrgentMed would get a larger volume of patients coming through, because they do such a nice job. But, it's nice to be able to come here after 7:00 p.m. on a Thurs. and not have to wait really at all to be seen. The office bldg. and clinic are also very neat and clean in appearance (see some photos of the lobby attached). Keep up the great work, guys!
We had such a positive experience with Dr. Kooyer at UrgentMED. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to really listen to my child's symptoms, which immediately put us at ease. During our visit, we never felt rushed—he made it clear that our concerns mattered and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
What truly stood out was his follow-up care. When I called back about possibly needing labs ordered, Dr. Kooyer personally got on the phone with me to go over everything in detail. Not only that, but he even called me back himself to further explain the findings. It’s rare to find a doctor who is this dedicated and attentive.
