United Accounts, Inc. is a collection agency. Some customers report a good experience, describing the staff as pleasant, nice, helpful, professional, and willing to work with individuals to resolve a collection. They work for the best interest of both parties. In one case, a paid collection was removed from a credit report within two weeks. Other reviews mention initial difficulties, such as problems with email receipts, but these were resolved in person. Despite negative reviews from others, some customers were impressed and would highly recommend the agency.
Trying to collect a debt that isn’t mine, threatening to sue for it. SSN and name doesn’t even match. Told them to contact me via mail, they refuse and keep calling multiple times a day.
I was lied to that they didn’t have an account in my name they wanted me to verify the account through the credit bureau’s which it would be confirmed so even after I paid the account in full they would still continue to keep the negative remark on my credit for seven years before I authorized payment I asked when will this account be deleted off of my credit report I was told 90 days that came and went then I was told a series of lie all of which I called them out on then I was told it’d be 90 days from June 6, 2025 that came and went my advice is if paying in full get it in writing before you make payment they employed a bunch of people that got picked on when...read full review
They called me and I asked who they were. The caller said United Accounts Inc, which I’ve never heard of. Told them I didn’t have an account with them and their response was to literally hang up on me. The caller was ostensibly American. I’m perplexed by such odd behavior from a company or organization. Still don’t really know who they are or their intent. Zero stars/do not recommend.
