I've gone to this vet for ten years with 2 different animals. They have wonderful staff who are all caring and helpful. I have had a dog with congestive heart failure in their care and my young cat. I don't know how they are with other animals.

We needed a vet in Fargo as we live there in the summer. My fur baby RIpley needs attention as she has eye issues that come along with being a rat terrier (she's a mixed rescue) as well as being the only survivor of her litter from distemper. The staff is kind and patient. The doctor provides details that I can understand and is very patient and helpful with any questions I have.We were recommned to visit an opthamologist in Andover, MN; where we had to have one of her eyes removed. When we returned for her check up, we were provided a list of recommendations to ensure Ripley is healthy. The staff are so nice and friendly! Our dog is a rescue pup so she's terrified of everything but all of the staff are always so gentle, patient and good with her. I love the option to be able to text Southgate outside of their normal business hours when we have less urgent questions when our dog seems sick.
