For several years we have had 5 of our major appliances under the Sears Maintenence program. Having had a few maintenance calls through the years, we must say that the techs that have come to our house have always been very excellent. The one that was here on our last call, this past Jan. 19th, was probably the very best that we have ever had. Very clean, friendly, knowledgable and showed a very distinct desire to make sure that we were fully satisfied. With that being said, I must say that the people in charge of lining up the appointment leave a lot to be desired. A WHOLE WEEK to wait before anyone can come?? Really?? This was absolutely the BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY!!! They came out to repair our refrigerator in garage which quit. Then I was told no that's not under this WARRANTY needs to be in your kitchen. When I made the appointment no one ever mentioned it would not be covered as I asked. Then we needed our furnace repaired as it was not blowing hot air. Called Sears Home WARRANTY followed all of their rules and had the furnace repaired by there guy, paid the total bill, emailed in my bill. More than a month later, I have received nothing of the 25 percent discount I was promised. I called 2 different days to find out where it was.
