Bought an ESG, easy install in my aircraft. Unfortunately the GPS antennae was DOA. Called Appareo and worked with their tech support, very helpful folks. When we established the GPS antennae was defective they offered to send me a new one at no extra expense and even offered to overnight it, now that's customer service! Got the new GPS antennae and the ESG came to life. Paired it with my Stratus 2s and what a combination, great performance!

I have had the same issue with my Stratus on two previous and now third time, the battery stops charging. The support people are professional but back it clear that I could have damaged the unit and that would have to evaluate it and then let me know and then charge me depending on what they find. This is my second replacement since Oshkosh, where I had the same problem and they made an exchange. This is really getting old, my feeling is that I have an original unit that has known issues. I think they should offer the new version.

Just upgrade to Synthetic Vision all I can say is wow.
